Mikki Grooming Matt Breaker with Replacement
£
15.29
This is great for heavily matted dogs, used in conjunction with brushes and combs to remove matts from a coat by cutting through the matt and breaking it into smaller pieces .
These tools are very sharp, process requires utmost attention and care to prevent injury to your pooch
If a matt is extremely close to the skin then do not attempt as its likely it would have to be shaved out by your groomer
GROOM PROFESSIONAL Curved Soft Slicker Brush Medium
£
4.6
My favourite and use this for every breed
Comes in various sizes depending on the size of your dog, however generally medium size is my go to
It is an all-purpose brush, great for getting out the not so heavily matted dog and undercoats. It can be used for all but the short, fine coated breeds such as the boxer and Dalmatian.
It is important to note that improperly used slicker can severely injure a pet by scraping the skin and causing brush burn.
Only lightly brush over the coat and ensure not brushing skin
